In the articel mentioned above you can read that the jdbc 2.0 implemented by oracle are working on the client side, fetching and storing the data. This do not solve the problem, i think.

Another idea is to build a new DataSource type which tries to get the data
with an query send to the database for each part it needs.
The DataSourceJDBC is only possibility...
