What version are you using, and classic or dataList navigation (if you don't know why nav system just mention the version and we will know based on the default)?
The cvs version works correctly (for dataList navigation, didn't try classic) and I can't reproduce your error. I think it got corrected along the line someplace. I filed several bugs against the new navigation system and they seem to have been fixed.
I have the problem that the NEW button in the LIST page does not work as expected. e.g. it does not offerI don't know why and I don't know how to make the version you are using work correctly, BUT (here's a workaround)
me a empty single page to insert a new record...... instead it give me the data of the first record in the table !! ??
you can always set the followUp to "/admin/nlv_agenda_single_insert_from_list.jsp" (a new page modified from "/admin/nlv_agenda_single.jsp"or something like that and put
<db:textArea ...overrideValue=""/> for each of your fields, take out navigation buttons, and make sure you have
<db:insertButton showAlways="true"
It should function the same as a clean insert in a single form. A little bit of a hack but...
