Just kidding, we don't have any. Care to submit some when you get it up and running?
I should think you could either:
1) look at mac osx info and see how to install things as linux and then just follow our regular documentation.
2) otherwise, assuming you can install a servlet container that supports the Servlet API Specification, version 2.3 or later, and the JavaServer Pages (JSP) Specification, version 1.2 or later, about the only difference for Mac it would see m to me is setting up paths
For instance you need to define an environment variable JAVA_HOME that points at the base directory of your JDK installation, and add the directory "$JAVA_HOME/bin" to your PATH variable.
Set an environment variable named "DBFORMS_HOME" which points to the directory containing the dbforms distribution.
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SET THOSE UNDER MAC BUT AM SURE THEY DOCUMENTED IT SOMEPLACE.
So I suggest just trying to follow the regular install instructions in the Usersguide in the distribution or at:
http://jdbforms.sourceforge.net/UsersGuide/html/ch05s01.html http://jdbforms.sourceforge.net/UsersGuide/html/ch06.html
and setting the environmental variables and classpath by MacOSX methods.
-- Shawn (non-Mac -- i.e. *nix user)hi, I'd like to know how to install dbforms on macosX. Thank you for your help joel
