Hello!
The <db:sort fieldName="id" /> tag is very useful, but its appearance on
page is taking much place even if the column for which You place it is very
short. So if I use it for an ID column, where the ids are no greater than
1000, the width of the column is still forced to be of the width of the
texts "Ascending" and "Descending". I suggest to extend the appearance by
the possibility of attaching of little fancy icons instead of texts, which
then can be included in the header of the table. I did not found this
possibility in the documentation.
Maybe it's good to look at the functionality at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en-us/dndude/html/qualsort.asp, and also
http://msdn.micrisift.com/library/en-us/dndude/html/quahl.asp .
