Oh, i saw it, but i didn't understand it was talking about CVS: i
thought Jan was talking about your hint for jdbc standard extensions:
my mistake, sorry.

You can not compile with jdk 1.3 but at least running should work. To compile you need 2 little changes in the source code.

Ok, i will test eclipse + jdk 1.3 + tomcat 4.1 using dbforms CVS snapshot as soon as possible (i cannot connect to server now). If i found something interesting, I will report it on mailing list...

We can not change source code to ensure backward compatibility with jdk 1.3
because we can not work with jdk 1.4 then.
There are some modifications to the jdbc interfaces which need some methods
in the SingleConnectionWrapper.java which are not there in jdk 1.3.

But you can just comment them out in the sources....
Naturally, even if i would prefere to stay "in-synch" with
official CVS snapshots.
For now, it's good to be able to execute binaries in jdk 1.3

Thanks a lot
Roberto
