I've tried to run the bookstore example, but I've got the following Tomcat Log Output.
Have you got it running yet?
Um did you modify dbforms-config.xml at all? That is my guess.
You may need to restart tomcat or the context after changing that file.
Otherwise I would put the jars back into \WEB-INF\lib just to eliminate class loading issues.
I kept the folder bookstore\WEB-INF\lib as it is provided in the example and I added the following jars to $TOMCAT_HOME/shared/lib:
- dbforms.jar
- log4j.jar
- mysql-connector-java-3.0.11-stable-bin.jar
