After the user submits a dbform, we can manipulate the data before/after
it gets updated, inserted or deleted in the database through an
interceptor.

There is a unit in the usersguide about it called "Application
hook-ups".

The chapter on EJBs and JBoss gives an example of how to use the
business logic you have in an EJB.  You will have to try and understand
that I think.
