Hi,

I read in dbforms 2.5 snapshot readme that new insert are used to make
update ? Is that right ?

I'm have an nested dbform that has set autoUpdate="true" in parent and child
dbform tag. In ver. 1.3 and 2.4 it works fine, but with version 2.5 it
return error when I update the parent or child dbform:

 Error:
a.. ERROR: ExecInsert: Fail to add null value in not null attribute
roomtypeid
b.. ERROR: ExecInsert: Fail to add null value in not null attribute
roomtypeid
c.. ERROR: ExecInsert: Fail to add null value in not null attribute
roomtypeid
d.. ERROR: ExecInsert: Fail to add null value in not null attribute
roomtypeid
e.. ERROR: ExecInsert: Fail to add null value in not null attribute
roomtypeid
In this case I have 5 rows in my child dbform.

How I can set dbform to make the old updated and not insert by default ?

TIA

LFung
