[dbforms] default value question

Hello,   I have a question regarding default values for numeric type fields.   Why does the typicalDefaultValue() method in DbBaseHandlerTag always return a 0 for numeric fields. It overrides any possibility of leaving the field’s value as null or other specified value in the dbforms-config defaultvalue parameter.   Thanks,   Julio
