This is not the intenion of dbforms. Dbforms has it focus on being a simple solution to build database enabled web applications.
Because of it's history we do not have an abstract base to build a 2-tier application which uses another rendering framework like swing. And in the world of swing applications there are no equivalent of tags - and the most uses thing in dbforms is it's tag library for web applications.
