Hi,

current JDBM code license is little bit fragmented. I think it would
be good to sort out this and release JDBM 2.0 under single license. I
think best choice would be Apache 2 licence, since it is 'BSD' of
today.

I made little code audit for JDBM 2.0. This code is mostly based on JDBM 1.0
 * Most of files are under BSD style JDBM license.
 * Some unit tests are under Library GPL.
 * There is HashMap from Primitive Collections under Lesser GPL by Soren Bak
 * I added some unit test from Google Collections under Apache 2 license

>From CVS and code comments there is about 4 authors. I need agreement
from each of them. Now this can be impossible since most of code is
more then 6 years. I can replace some code, but not most of it.

There was already some kind of activity in relicensing. But nobody in
Apache foundation actually got agreement for new version.

So far I tryed to reach Cees De Groot and Alex Boisvert, but without any luck.
Emails are returning undelivered, mailbox does not exist.

So if you contributed any code into JDBM 1.0,
please give me permission to relicense it under
Apache 2 license.

Regards,
Jan Kotek
