Hi,

I couldn't use the bean shell or jde-parse command. I am getting the
following error ...

"Symbol's function definition is void: locate-data-directory"

The relevant documentation read as follows, which I couldn't really
understand..

jde-find-jde-data-directory: ()
  -- a Lisp function.
  -- loads from "jde".

Return the path of the JDE data directory.
Returns nil if the directory cannot be found. At some
point, XEmacs will include the JDE. Versions of XEmacs
that include JDE will store the JDE doc and Java clasees in a data
directoory called jde. On all other Emacs versions, the JDE
expects to find the documentation and Java classes in subdirectories
of the directory that contains the file jde.el.

Does this mean all my source files shd be in a subdirectory where I have
installed JDE?? Is there a way I could avoid this???

Thanks
Suresh
