you need the scond bit to turn on abbrev mode (the above code will turn it
on for all files) to get dynamic expansion of the templates to work with
out pressing any extra keys - it can get annoying though, as there are
abbrevs such as 'throw' -> 'throws' defined in the jde itself - you may
want to redefine some of these.
you can do M-x list-abbrevs to see what's automatically defined in the jde
