I use cvs to work from home/work on the same stuff. Ths command line of
cvs is pretty easy and fast and I often just use that for simple stuff
like checkout/update/commit. For operations on individual files I use
pcl-cvs (emacs package) which gives you a directory based overview of a
module, you can flag files for cvs operations , it is very easy to use.
There is also a Java cvs client (jCVS) that I haven't used for a while,
but I think has now become quite sophisticated/stable.
