debugging jdk sources

How do I get jde-2.1.5 to allow me to step throught JDK supplied source code
? I have set my jde-db-source-directories variable to
/usr/java1.2/src.jar & ./

details:
Solaris 2.6
JDE 2.1.5
Emacs 20.3.1
JDK 1.2.1_03

I am not sure if this email automatically subscribes me to the JDE mailing
so I would appreciate a personal reply as well.
