jde/gud problem

Hi,

I'm trying to run JDE 2.1.5 on XEmacs 21.0 on NT.  I've
installed JDE and I'm using this .emacs file:

http://sunsite.auc.dk/jde/_emacs_jde

However, the line requiring jde causes this XEmacs startup
error:

Error in init file: Cannot open load file: gud

Any suggestions? (I'm not on the mailing list so please reply to
me)
