Can anyone tell me whether this will support the latest JDE? When last
tested, last month, it didn't work because
        - beanshell doesn't like the space in "C:\Program Files"
        - browse-url.el doesn't support NT Netscape (and the current maintainer of
the package doesn't use XEmacs)
        - javaw doesn't work as the VM for GUI apps, nor javaw for console apps
        - possibly other stuff fixed by assorted patches, including a patched JDE
2.1.6b4 from Andy Piper.

XEmacs/JDE make a great combination, I now have workarounds which give me a
very usable system. Given the current irregularity of binary releases, is
there any chance of getting JDE 2.1.6 support into this release?

I know that JDE 2.1.4 is properly packaged for XEmacs, but there is a
**huge** jump in functionality to 2.1.6. I wish I had more time to spend on
this right now, but I'll do what I can - though I'm a Lisp/XEmacs novice.
Can anyone else help?

Thanks to all for effort expended on some software,
Regards,
Thomas.
