speedbar uses imenu by default to determine what to show. imenu builds its
list from the contents of the buffer. I don't know how folding mode works
but if it renders parts of the buffer invisible to imenu, then you won't
see the invisible parts in speedbar. speedbar has the option to use tags
files to build the contents node of a file. etags (or jtags) operates on
files not buffers. Thus, it should be possible to use folding mode and
speedbar/tags together. The drawback is, you have to retag a directory
every time it changes. shift-mbutton2 on a node, by contrast, causes
speedbar/imenu to rebuild the node automatically.
