Hi Bogadn

JDEbug is still in beta. It is essentially the work of one person at this
point: me. I have not had time to write formal doc and my emphasis
currently is on implementing basic functionality rather than on
ease-of-setup and use and bug-fixing. The result of this is that if you
want to use JDEbug, you must be prepared to dig through the
ReleaseNotes.txt file, which now spans 20 beta releases, and through the
JDE mailing list archives for usage and setup information and read and
apply this information very carefully. Also, when asking for help, you must
be prepared to describe problems completely, using the tool that the JDE
provides for this purpose. Finally, you must be prepared to encounter bugs,
work around them, and hopefully report them so that they can be fixed.

If you are willing to accept these conditions, you will be able to get
JDEbug to work for you.

I know from personal experience and from email that I have received from
other users that JDEbug has been used successfully for the following types
of applcations:

Solaris
Windows 95/98/NT
Linus

command-line apps
Swing apps
AWT apps
custom GUI foundation class apps
client-server apps across multiple hosts

applications with embedded vm's.

So you should have confidence that your efforts to master JDEBug will be
rewarded.
