Blackdown's jdk 1.2.2 rc4 README.linux says:
"JDPA has been backported from the JDK 1.3 ...
- jdb now uses JDPA"
I do not know whether JDPA has been backported to Sun's jdk 1.2.2 linux release.
Both Sun's and Blackdown's jdk 1.2.2 have an oldjdb in their bin directories.
