Hi Jeff

The primary feature of 2.1.6 is the debugger. My criteria for a final
release is feature complete (not all bells and whistles, thought), bug
free, and complete documentation. The current beta appears near to being
bug free. I had thought the beta was near to being feature complete but
John Olssen's excellent bug reports have convinced me that JDEbug's window
management and breakpoint features need more work. The doc is only about
20% done. This probably adds up to 4-5 more beta releases if I hold to my
current release criteria.

As for 2.2 (3.0?), the plan is for it to focus on a new object-oriented,
hierarchical project management subsystem.

Regards,

Paul
