Sounds like your sourcepath isn't set up properly. I use jikes +E all the time
in GNU Emacs on Win NT, Solaris and RedHat Linux with no problem. The sourcepath
setting is under the General bit of the JDE customisation stuff.
cheers,

Subject: Jikes +E and XEmacs
Hi,
I've set my compiler to jikes and use +E to let it generate Emacs
compatible error messages. When I try to step through them with
C-x ` everything works fine for the first message but fails after that
- asking which source file to use.
As +E is advertised as "list errors in emacs-form" I suspect I might
be doing something wrong. My first guess is that there is a difference
between GNU Emacs and XEmacs - I use the latter - probably in
compile.el.
Has anybody else come accross this - and maybe has a solution for me.
I'm going to investigate this a little bit deeper if I should be the
first to find this - which I doubt.
Thanks
Stefan
