Simple JDEbug question

I'm new to Emacs & Java, and have what I am sure must be a very simple
problem.

When I try to Debug an App, I get the debug window, and it enters the
debugger.  But I don't get a Jdb menu.  My menu consists of: ... Mule,
Gud, Complete, In/Out, Signals, and Help.

I can issue commands in the debug window, but I don't see any changes,
or progress indication in the source window, as the screen shots would
indicate.

I'm using Blackdown 1.1.7.

Any help is certainly appreciated...
