Interestingly enough, I get this when attempting to visit a new file,
where no prj.el exists. Therefore based on your response, it must be
one of the jde variables in my .emacs. I looked at it and found nothing
that I thought was wrong. Could you take a moment a sift through it.
BTW, I am at beta23 of the JDE, running GNU Emacs 20.6.1
(i386-*-nt5.0.2195) of Tue Feb 29 2000 on buffy. If you'd rather I can
submit a bug report, so you get the full scoop.
