Thanks for your help, I now, as they say, understand :)
One last question before I shut up and get on with using lovely emacs and
JDE. One feature I really miss from an editor called Codewrite (and this
feature is prob in other editors too), is code wrap up. e.g. push a button
and the editor wraps up one or all functions in the file into just the
function statement, hiding the body. Pressing again does the opposite. This
makes it easy to move through finding functions. I know the speedbar is an
easy function locatero, but doing it without resorting the the
mouse/speedbar is quicker.
