The JDE uses cc-mode for code indentation. See the cc-mode section of the
Emacs user guide for information on customizing indentation to your
preferences and for information on how to turn off indentation. Also,
turning off indentation and customizing indentation are FAQs on comp.emacs
and gnu.emacs.help. You might want to search the archives for those groups
for additional information.
