which-function-mode

hello,

why does the really helpful 'which-function-mode not work with JDE. With c++-mode or 
c-mode it works great.
Is this a problem of the java-mode of cc-mode or of jde-mode?

It would be nice if which-function-mode would also work with JDE!!
