For all source files. I installed jdk1.3 in d:/Program Files and it
also does this for the file
d:/Program Files/jdk1.3/src/java/lang/Class.java
I also have JBuilder 3.5 installed (and have that compiler first in my
PATH).
Robert> 3. Completion at point always says "No completion at point".
Robert> For instance,
Paul> Is Foo compiled and present on jde-global-classpath, which you

Yes. Interestingly enough the prj.el file sets jde-global-classpath
to d:/work/classes, but when I view the value in *scratch* it is
displayed as /d/work/classes. I have d: mounted as /d in cygwin.
Robert> 4. When I use the speedbar I do not get the
Robert> Package/Types/Dependencies decomposition described in the User
Robert> Guide. The speedbar just shows methods in alphabetical order.
Paul> I suspect you did not delete the old instance of speedbar that

Hmmm, well you're right. I forced site-lisp/speedbar-0.12 to the
front of my load-path and for good measure renamed the default
speedbar.el to speedbar-original.el, but I didn't delete the file. Do
you believe deleting it is really necessary? Emacs is smart, but
seriously?
Thanks for all your help,
