Installing semantic bovinator

Hi,
I am very new to using emacs and now I am interested in JDE. But  I soon
failed to install JDE because I don't  know how to add 'semantic
bovinator' in my .emacs file to be included at startup. There's no help
provided for beginners like me at Eric Ludlam's site. So, any help is
appreciated. Thanks. Martin
