The current release, JDE 2.2.5, is the first release to use the singular 
form. This change was made to conform to Emacs coding conventions.

This is the only symbol name change that I can recall making since the 
JDE's inception three years ago. Further, accommodating the name change 
requires only a single search-and-replace operation in the html-help-mode 
source. So I don't understand why this one small change is causing such 
concern.
