I'm seeing the same thing that you report below. Any workaround?
Just to make sure I understand, this really constitutes two problems,
correct? One, that context switching is not being turned effectively
off, and, two, that context switching occurs even when the newly
switched to buffer is in the same project as the previous.

On my installation with 226B7, I left the default option
"jde-project-context-switching- enabled-p" turned off, but I however
see the message "Rescanning classes..." every time I switch buffers,
and even if they belong to the same project. In my project with a large
number of classes, after a while this takes quite a while. Does
anyone experiences the same problem?
