Whoops. Ok. I just downloaded and installed the current stable version. I still got the same error... I tracked the problem down to jde-cflo.el. By looking at JDE and the non-jde file, jde-cflo.el, I gather that jde-cflow.el is no longer required. I can't remember why/when I added this... Removing jde-cflo resolves my problem.

The latest "production" version of the JDE is 2.2.5.2, the latest beta is 2.2.6beta7, which is very stable. I prefer not to debug problems in old versions of the JDE. I recommend you update to the latest beta and repost if the problem persists. - Paul >"Error in init file: Wrong type argument: vectorp, nil" > >It is in the following context... > >Loading JDE from gen_init.el >Loading backquote... >Loading backquote...done >Loading wid-browse... >Loading wid-browse...done >Loading cl-macs... >Loading cl-macs...done >Bootstrapping objects... >Bootstrapping objects...done >Loading cl-extra... >Loading cl-extra...done >Error in init file: Wrong type argument: vectorp, nil >Loading cl-seq... >Tried to load `cl-seq' before `cl'! > >I am using: > >Windows NT 4.0 >emacs 20.7.1 >jde 2.2.3 >elib 1.0 >semantic 1.2.1 >speedbar 0.12 > >The older jde 2.1.5 seems to work but the file structure, install method >was different if I remember correctly.... >Any ideas? >
