Hi,
This may be aproblem that has been sorted before but :-

I'm using NT Emacs V20.7.1 and JDE 2.2.4

I'm trying to set up jde/emacs to compile using the NT shell (cmd.exe) and
I'm not having much luck.

I've managed to set the variable "explicit-shell-file-name" to be cmd and
thus when I do M-x shell I get cmd.exe.

However the jde when compiling, continues to try and use bash. The
documentation suggests setting shell-file-name to the name of the shell, but
when I try and put the path to cmd.exe in here it complains about having the
wrong type.

Any ideas

Thanks in advance

Robert
