Hi,
I just tried to install jde-2.2.5.
I even read ReleaseNotes.txt

Also tried to install elib-1.0.
I'm not confident this install is complete, as the instructions in elib INSTALL
read:
3) Edit the file `default.el' in your emacs lisp directory (usually
/usr/gnu/emacs/lisp or something similar) and enter the contents
of the file `elib-startup.el' into it. This file was created from
the file `startup_template.el' by the make in step 2.
Alas, I have no 'default.el' anywhere, [an XEmacs thing?] so my
installation, and by extension, all my jde-java work has suddently
ground to a halt.
Anyone have a suggestion or idea for how and where to create 'default.el' ?
I am using XEmacs 21.1 on RedHat6.2.
