This does sound more serious than a simple config error, but there are a few
things wrong: jde 2.2.5 hates the versions of speedbar and semantic that you're
asking it to use. You need to use a specific version of each; the details are
on the jde website.
Since you're doing (require 'jde) any jde-specific errors should be in your
messages buffer. Try that and see how far gets you. If you're still stuck the
others on the list have MUCH more lisp mojo than I. :)
