We beg to report successful use of GNU Emacs 20.7, JDEBug from 2.2.6b7,
and JDK 1.3.0_01 (!) on RH Linux with a custom 2.2.18 kernel. (That is, we
compile our own kernels. We don't hack them into something else that would
mess up JDE. :)
We were able to do it by following the instructions -- 1.3 worked out of
the box for us.
