I had a similar problem/error and resolved it by replacing the jde-parse.el
(attached)file in jde/lisp/.
I've attached the file that corrected the problem.
One caveat, I'm a newbie, so I can't tell if your problem is the same as mine.
Therefore, be sure to save off your original jde-parse.el.
