I have now been fighting with various incarnations of JDE and JDebug for
part of 3 consecutive days and still no luck. I am now running the
lastest JDE (2.2.7beta4), the latest eieio, speedbar, semantic, elib on
Emacs 20.7.1 under Linux. It is a fresh, virgin emacs installation.
After setting all my source directories and classpath and all other
installation settings I get "JDebug not running" when I attempt to debug
an app. Yet when I shut down emacs it things JDebug is running. This
is the last of several symptoms I have got on different OSes. It is
getting quite tiresome. Any help much appreciated.
