In XEmacs for NT:
Alt return
first-letter-of-the-method
The Functions menu opens while you are doing this to show the choices.
Three keystrokes to get to a method, not bad.
When multiple methods start with the same letter,
hit it again to cycle through the choices, then
hit return to select. If you have lots of methods in the file,
then there are two levels of menus. I had not tried this until
you asked, now I will do it all the time!
