You can send cash to anybody with an email address using PayPal. See:

It may be easier for people just to send him cash if they feel the call
to do so rather than trying to organize a group effort to purchase a gift
for him. Just send along "appreciative JDE/JMode user" as a comment or
something.

Internet. Paul, if there are books, software, or power tools that you
really want, please set up an Amazon.com wish list so that your devoted
fans can make a contribution for all your hard work.
