For JSP, I flip between html-helper-mode and jde-mode, based on the
"section" worked on and which mode I care about running at the time (just
manually invoke the desired mode). This works pretty well, but not optimal.
I believe others have used multi-mode to automatically change between them,
based on context, but I have not ever set this up.
In the comp.emacs archives, there are many posts on setting up multi-mode
(which is mmm-mode).
