Hey.
A lot of people have talked about sending the the "name change" story to
Slashdot, etc.
On Paul's behalf, this should be *his* decision. It might still be possible to
deal with this easily and without any lawyers. I am just afraid that if we make
a stink it could make Paul's life more hectic than it already is. Considering
all the great work he has done with the JDE he certainly deserves this respect.
I personally think that this should be fought. Paul has 15 days to figure this
out so....

In this business, the only real open industry standard in the computer industry
is Linux, which thankfully remains beyond the clutches of the moguls. Everything
else is hokum designed to lock developers (and by extension, customers) into
