I use version jde 2.2.7.1 on xemacs 21.1 of may 99 on RH6.2 on a 650 machine with plenty of memory.

The first problem is that after some time the speedbar of the JDE or jdebug opens a second version of a file
in a new buffer instead of going to the file already open in a buffer.
When I say second versions I mean that a buffer is created with <fileName 2> as the header. A buffer with <fileName> is also present in the buffer list.

At this point the speedbar when I click on a file will always open these "second versions" until I exit xemacs and start again.
If I start to write to the file I get a message saying that the file has changed on disk - which as far as I know it hasn't.
The second problem is that after using jdebug and killing all processes I find I can no longer run jdebug again - I have to exit completely to do so.

Is anybody else getting this same behaviour - are these bugs or features - is it confined to xemacs rather than emacs?

Thanks for any help.

Ralph
