There seems to be a difference between xemacs and emacs as regards control structures such as "if' and "for" etc.

In xemacs on <return> after a control structure the control expression can be entered in the mini-buffer.

In emacs both on <return> and <space> the default behaviour seems to happen - ie the control structure is copied into the file without the possibility of
including the the control expression.

Has anyone else noticed this behaviour or found a solution.

Regards Ralph
