with jde 2.2.9beta5 i get following error with every function which
needs java (bsh, etc):

this happens on Cygwin XEmacs 21.4.5 on W2K. My limited
understanding of lisp could not make sense out of it.
With jde 2.2.9beta4 everything works fine.
