Also.  I noticed that you are only looking for build.xml.  Actually you should
also look for build/build.xml which is becoming convention.

IE I have:

/projects/reptile/build/build.xml
/projects/reptile/src/java

This won't find my build.xml this way :(

A lot (80%) of Apache projects do this.
