Let's say I have a variable declared and used in many places in a file. Currently I use the emacs word-search-forward to search for all occurances of it. I get the first location. But now to repeat the word search again, I have to type M-x word-search-forward and then the word. I want to know if there is a way by which I could place my cursor on a word and then do a word search which will step me through all occurances of that variable.
