Hi, I am trying to understand how the BeanShell works, for finding a class whose name is under the cursor.
the Beanshell is configured correctly and loads fine but its response time is a bit of an issue: Many times it sends no reply, and I need to retry again and again till it finally 'finds' the source for the class I am asking and brings it on. Is there a way to speed it up? I also noticed that while the beanshell is 'processing' my request my emacs is unusable (freezes), and stays so for 30 seconds or so till the Beanshell replies .... I am using emacs 21.1 on Windows 2000 Pro (service pack 2). Sun JDK 1.3.1 Any tips will be appreciated. The Beanshell functionality for finding source code for classes in a large code base is very important. thanks Elias Biris, System-Level Design R&D Cadence Design Systems Ltd, SOC Design Centre 1 The Alba Campus TEL: +44 (0)1506595036 Livingston, EH54 7HH FAX: +44 (0)1506595959
