Hi,

Six months ago, I migrate from Win Me to Win Xp. And only currently (my
first time), I try to compile a buffer under Winxp WITHOUT chaingin
anything in configs (_emacs, location of paths, etc.) according to what
I had from Win Me

However, I have the following error
*******
Signaling: (wrong-type-argument listp "jikes")
  car("jikes")
  (string-match "javac" (car jde-compiler))
  (if (string-match "javac" (car jde-compiler)) (jde-compile-get-javac)
(jde-compile-get-jikes))
  jde-compile-get-the-compiler()
  (let ((compiler ...)) (oset compiler :interactive-args (split-string
jde-interactive-compile-args " ")) (jde-compile-compile compiler))
  jde-compile()
  call-interactively(jde-compile)
*****
This error did never occur in WinMe and just after a migration, it
appears. Note that my path environment containing jikes is correct. As a
test, I launched jikes under the dos-interpreter and all is fine.
Also note that when I run the project (from jdee but not from a dos line
command), everything is fine.

What may be the problem please? Is it specific to the WinXP?

Regards,
