hello Paul:
my question is:

question report:
emacs version: GNU Emacs 20.7.1
OS version: SunOS blazer9 5.8 Generic_108528-09 sun4u sparc
SUNW,Sun-Blade-100
JDE version: jde-2.2.9beta10
speedbar-0.14beta4
eieio-0.17
I had read the JDEE User's Guide and recent mail list, but
i still can find the method to solve my question.

I want to use JDE->Project->Options->General
"Jde Mode Abbreviations" to add one more shortcut
like
jde-mode abbreviation:
Abbreviation: str
Expansion: String

then I save this change [Save for Future Sessions]
after I back the java source code buffer, I still cannot
use my setting "str" to active "String" show up?

Thank you
-Danyu
